ICAN Youth for Girls:
It is our goal to uphold the responsibility of mentoring the female youth in our community from ages 5-18 so that they take pride in being strong Muslims in our community. We are firmly dedicated to strengthening their Muslim identity through showing, by example, that a Muslim in present day society does not have to conform to rules placed on youth by others, and can maintain and uphold the principles and virtues of Islam in every aspect of their life. We aim to develop their self-confidence, self-respect, and dignity by encouraging the enhancement of their skills and abilities. Our ultimate goal is to insha’Allah build a strong generation of youth who have confidence and pride in being a Muslimah and aim to continuously improve themselves in every way possible. |
